Converting Songs from OS 9 to OS X (ASIO to Core Audio)

Hello everybody,
how do I convert a Logic Audio Song (Logic Audio 6.3.1,
Audiophile-USB, ASIO) from ASIO (Mac OS 9.2.2) to Core Audio
(OS X 10.2)?
When I try to open a song (that was made with LA running under
OS 9) with LA OS X, all of my instrument and effect plugins are
struck out. If I go to the "environment" and set the audio objects
from ASIO to Core Audio all of my plugins are lost. So how do I
convert a song from ASIO to Core Audio?

Well first of all you need to have the AU versions of the VST plug
ins...even after that none (at least none that I know) of your own VST
plug in settings carry on to to the OS X side
which does make things a bit painful. You might optionally buy the
VST-AU wrapper by Fxpansion
http://www.fxpansion.com/product-auadapter-main.php
which will read the VST settings as it translates VST-X effects and
instruments to AU. Even then you need the VST-X versions of your plug
ins.
Otherwise you just make sure that your audio/audio instruments use
CoreAudio and not ASIO.
